Wade Ang, the director of financial planning and analysis at NComputing, studied accounting and finance as an undergraduate student at University of Hawaii. While earning his bachelor of administration degree, Wade Ang was a member of international business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma.

Beta Gamma Sigma support its members by honoring academic excellence, developing leadership skills, promoting community service and involvement, and serving as a networking resource. In the past, one way that the organization advanced the leadership component of its mission was to have leadership forums in which approximately 200 business students from around the world could meet to network, listen to speakers, and participate in leadership development activities.

While these forums worked well, they were simply too small to meet the needs of the growing Beta Gamma Sigma membership. To remedy this, the annual Global Leadership Summit program was inaugurated in 2015. The aims of the summits are similar to those of the forum; however, their larger sizes allow approximately 500 Beta Gamma Sigma business students to participate.

The 2016 Global Leadership Forum will be held in Dallas, Texas, on the weekend of November 3 to 6. In addition to workshops and other events, attendees will be able to use the Clifton Strengthsfinder, a test to help individuals discover their strengths and talents, as a springboard for developing their leadership skills throughout the summit.
